These body scrubs can be used before your bathing ritual to help keep you exfoliate, moisturize and invigorate.

Always apply to wet skin. Use a gentle circular motion, directed toward the heart, without applying pressure.  If using a body scrub scented with an essential oil, take a few deep cleansing breaths. Let the oil rest on your skin for a few minutes. Use Caution: The oils can make the tub surface slick. Completely wash body scrub off, and do not use soap or shower gel after applying body scrub. Gently pat skin dry.

If your skin is extremely dry, apply a body butter for extra moisturizing benefits.

Exfoliating your entire body can help prevent body acne in many places below your neck, such as the chest, back and arms and remove dry itchy, dead skin cells.  It also may help you avoid ingrown hairs by preventing dead skin cells from plugging up follicles where you've shaved or waxed. It can also even out skin tone, keeping skin hydrated, smooth and soft.

As a hand scrub: Wet your hands. Spoon a small amount into your hands, gently rubbing it in, rinsing it off with warm water, and drying your hands thoroughly.

When to use: No more than 2-3 times a week.  If your skin is very sensitive, definitely less. Keep in mind that the purpose of exfoliating is to remove skin cells that are dead. Do not scrub too hard. Otherwise, you might leave your skin looking red and feeling sore. Applying the scrub gently on your skin in circular motions. This results in soft, nourished, young looking skin.

If you are on medications, have a health condition, pregnant or nursing, consult your health provider before using products containing Herbs and/or Essential oils.
