The Romantic Collection: Cream and Blush Hydrangeas

Laura Rhodes Naturals

The Romantic Collection: Cream, White & Blush Dried Hydrangeas (Seconds)

Experience the timeless beauty of a Virginia summer all year long. The Romantic Collection features our exquisite Panicle Hydrangeas, known for their unique, cone-shaped blooms and delicate petal structure.

Grown with care and harvested by hand at our homestead in Amherst, VA, these blooms represent the first of our 2025 Harvest. The soft palette of creamy whites and subtle blush pinks offers a vintage, "faded elegance" aesthetic that brings warmth and texture to any room.

Please note:

These are dried hydrangea blooms in their natural state and color. Strawberry Vanilla and Limelight Panicle varieties. These were picked the very first, so they are lighter in color, ie., cream, white, and with pink tinges. All Natural Colors.

Please note: These blooms have more brown petals than first blooms and thus the price is discounted. With some additional color from coloring, you can enhance the bloom or make arrangement so that bad place does not show. You can make an amazing hydrangea arrangement with these! These will be in their natural state. Last of the 2025 harvest.

Styling & Creative Uses

Dried hydrangeas are incredibly versatile. Because they don't require water, you can place them in vessels and locations where fresh flowers simply can't go:

The Minimalist Vase: Place the set of five in a tall stoneware or amber glass vase for an effortless, architectural statement piece.

Wreath Embellishments: Tuck individual blooms into a grapevine wreath or a greenery base to add volume and a pop of romantic color.
Mantel & Tablescapes: Lay the stems horizontally across a fireplace mantel or use them as a "runner" down the center of a dining table for an organic, gathered look.

Gift Toppers: Snip smaller clusters from the stems to tie onto holiday or wedding gifts for a sophisticated, handmade touch.

Shadow Boxes: Preserve a single bloom in a glass frame or shadow box to create 3D botanical wall art.

How to Care for Your Dried Blooms

While these flowers are long-lasting, they are delicate. Follow these tips to keep them looking beautiful for years:

Avoid Moisture: Keep them in a dry environment. Humidity can cause dried flowers to become limp or develop mold.

Stay Out of Direct Sun: Bright sunlight will fade the delicate cream and blush tones over time. Display them in a shaded or indirectly lit area.

Dust Gently: Use a soft feather duster or a hair dryer on the "cool/low" setting to gently blow away dust every few months.

Handle with Care: Dried petals are brittle. Once you’ve styled them, try to avoid moving them frequently.
