1. How to Ripen Your Peaches at Home
Because these peaches were harvested at peak maturity, they are ready to finish their ripening process safely in your kitchen:

The Countertop Layer: Place your firm peaches side-by-side in a single layer on your counter or a table. Do not stack the boxes or the fruit on top of each other! Stacking traps natural ripening gases and will turn the bottom layer to mush before you can enjoy them.

The Palm Squeeze Test: To check if they are ready, cradle a peach in your palm and give it a gentle press. A perfectly ripe peach will have a slight "give," similar to a ripe avocado. Avoid pinching with your fingertips, as this causes immediate bruising.

Slowing Things Down: Once they soften and smell incredibly fragrant, they are at peak ripeness. Eat them immediately, or move them into the refrigerator to buy yourself an extra 3 to 5 days.
