If you stored your pre-baked whole wheat crusts in the freezer, let them thaw at room temperature for about 10–15 minutes before assembling.
Give your seasonal garden veggies a quick rinse in cool water and slice them thinly so they cook evenly on your personal pizza.
Gently chop or tear your seasonal herbs to release their aromatic oils.
Place your wholesome crusts onto a baking sheet.
*Sauce & Cheese: Spread a thin layer of your chosen sauce over the crusts, then sprinkle with your favorite cheese. Want to make your own sauce? Read below.
"How to Craft Your Sauce with the Tomatoes, Peppers & Spices Included in Your Kit:
Don't worry about buying pre-made jarred sauce—we've got you covered with the absolute best, most flavorful base! Here is a simple way to whip up a vibrant, garden-fresh sauce in minutes using the heirloom tomatoes, peppers, and hand-blended spices from your kit:
Prep the Produce: Core and roughly chop your fresh tomatoes. If you like a little kick, finely dice the peppers (remove the seeds first if you prefer a milder sauce!).
Simmer to Perfection: Drizzle a small splash of olive oil into a skillet or saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped tomatoes and peppers.
Season Generously: Toss in our signature herbal spice blend. As the tomatoes heat up, gently mash them with a wooden spoon or fork to release their juices and blend with the herbs.
Reduce & Thicken: Let the mixture simmer on low for about 10–15 minutes until it thickens into a rich, rustic sauce.
Homestead Tip: For a silky-smooth sauce, you can give it a quick pulse in a blender or food processor before spreading it onto your par-baked crust. Otherwise, keep it chunky and rustic to really appreciate those gorgeous garden textures! Just add your favorite cheese, and you're ready to bake!"
Toppings: Arrange your vibrant garden-fresh veggies evenly across the top.
Seasoning: Sprinkle a pinch of our custom Herbal Seasoning Salt Mix and your seasonal herbs over the toppings to elevate the natural flavors. (Tip: If using fresh delicate herbs like basil, you can set them aside and add them immediately after baking to keep them vibrant).
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
Bake for 8 to 12 minutes—just long enough for the cheese to melt into a bubbly golden brown and the edges of the whole wheat crust to become beautifully crisp.
Carefully remove your pizzas from the oven and let them cool for 2 minutes.
Slice, serve, and enjoy your wholesome, homegrown creation!
